Netcat Appoints Head of Business Development for ACT and New Zealand

Netcat, (www.netcat.biz) the largest Australian-owned web content management software company, has appointed Andrew James to a newly created position of Head of Business Development, ACT and New Zealand. Andrew will be responsible for Netcat’s expansion in New Zealand, and growing its Federal and ACT Government business.

Andrew joins Netcat from Excom, Australia’s largest IT training company, where he was ACT State Manager. Prior to Excom, he was Director of ebusiness development for Asia Pacific for CCH for 7 years.

“Netcat has the most intuitive WCM on the market, and their new SWIPE technology will transform the way organisations manage content on the web. SWIPE has immediate application in the Government market, where my focus will be. The company already has an impressive client base in Federal government, and I’ll be expanding that base further, as well as opening up the New Zealand Market”.

“Andrew James is a tremendous asset to Netcat” says CEO Bruce Wren. “Our SWIPE transformation technology has been awarded the 2007 iAward for Best Software in Government, and his appointment will enable Netcat to introduce this technology to Federal Government agencies in Canberra, as well as the ACT Local Government and the NZ market. Down the track we intend to leverage his Asia Pacific experience to drive our expansion in the region”.
