Get your images and multimedia files under control.  Besides documents and web pages, Netcat has the ability to build, store, secure, maintain and publish large multimedia libraries and graphic files for the web.  These libraries can include any file type that can be viewed in a browser window – logos, images, Flash movies and pdfs.

This module enables you to manage a library of images and multimedia files for use on-line and in printed collateral. Netcat stores photos, schematics, movies, logos, banner ads; in fact, any file type that can be viewed in a browser window.

Capture

Simply post your images and multimedia files to a library through a browser publishing interface. You can right click or drag’n’drop images from your desktop or bulk upload when your have larger quantities.  Assets reside in the file system and Netcat points to them. A single asset can therefore be used in multiple websites and pages. 

Classification and Cataloguing

Cataloguing your assets is easy. With the simple wizard, adding metadata is simple and you can apply any number of attributes to an asset. A thumbnail is automatically generated for images.

Integrated Search

Finding the right image is easy – you can search by project, asset type, date range, subject, region or other metadata, as well as by keyword.

Web Publishing and Web Applications

Using the image is as simple as double clicking or ‘drag and dropping’ the image into the desired webpage. Or generate a slideshow or gallery.

Maintenance

The software tracks those pages where an asset is used. If there is an image that is used in say 5 places, changing that image once will automatically update the website in all 5 places.

Hotspots

So you want your customers to navigate to available services via a map? Easy.  Simply highlight a section of a map with the Netcat hotspot generator and using Netcat’s link manager, instantly access the directory of services for that area.
